Aota Sushi

We have nothing negative to say about our experience at Aota sushi! We visited around 1:30pm on a weekday to enjoy their €14.95 sushi buffet. This cheaper buffet only includes a limited number of dishes on the menu but we still found this to be more than enough options! After two rounds of ordering we were full, despite wanting to try more things available to us on the menu! You don't need to buy a drink with this buffet, but you will be charged if you leave food waste and cannot eat everything. The buffet also has many options that aren't just limited to sushi - we had bao buns, gyoza and crispy duck! Some of the sushi options are also unique and very tasty, such as the fried maki. At the end of our meal, the waiter also pointed us towards the self-serve ice-cream counter that came included in the buffet, too! Our particular waiter was very friendly and spoke great English, Spanish and Chinese. We felt very welcomed at Aota Sushi and got such good value for money for only €29.90!

This place is a real find. The sushi is fresh and very tasty. The prices are quite reasonable. And besides, I met a stunning sunset overlooking the mountains in this restaurant

This is a great sushi restaurant located in the La Colina district of Torremolinos. The restaurant is not very visible from the street and if I had not gotten the recommendation from a friend, I would not have been able to find it. The food served is of great quality and taste - on 2 different occassions I tried the open buffet and it was amazing price/performance ratio. The only downside is that the sushi pieces are too big and contain too much rice - if you want to enjoy your evening with as many different dishes as possible, you should be careful and not order too many pieces of sushi at once. There is also a fine of €2/sushi piece for the leftovers on the plate - which is a great measure to fight food waste and ensure that people do not order what they cannot eat.

Very nice place. The staff is super friendly and the food comes fast. The quality is good. Not amazing but still very tasty.

We chose the buffet option. You can order unlimited sushi from the menu, for €18,95 per person. We really liked the food and the variety of the menu.
